Hello;

I m looking for some tuto how to instal Mgcamd
is possibel to use this emu with the Cccam emu inside the same dreambox 500,pli image

Hi knap92 !

You can use both cccam and mgcamd
In order to instal mgcamd you can download it via pppanel (blue button - downloads...-cams...)
There you will find only mgcamd 1.35a , no problem....,
You must continue with instalation and then reboot ...

Download the mgcamd 1.70 for gemini in your pc ang extract it.
You can use dcc to overwrite the exixting mgcamd 135(a) to 137.
Overwrite existing "mgcamd" file ,located at var/bin with new file and then give 755 attributes.
Do the same for var/keys/mg.conf
Reboot again ... and you are ready!!!

i did this ..but stil have probleme with capture canal,no image,no sound.

have dreamobx 500,pli image

You have to download the latest version (v2.96) and establish a connection beetwen dm and pc.

I suppose that you have installed mgcamd 1.35a
and you have download to your pc mgcamd1.70 for gemini image from this site
Then go from DCC to folder -- var/bin
You will see a file "mgcamd"
that file you have to replace - Overwrite with the new file with the same name. Dont forget to give 755 attributes.
Then go to var/keys and do the same with the file "mg_cfg"
Reboot ---end

i can use mgcam alone but not with conbination with cccam at the same time

the hole procedure that i told you above is for pli image.
If you have installed sucsefully mgcamd1.37 and works ok , you can go to main menu-->setup-->softcam setup--> there you can choose witch cam is your default cam and witch cam wil be used for specific provider or even channel.
This must be done for all providers or channels you want to be decrypted by different cam.
