    CCCAM with Tiger Z280 Receiver

Hello everyone, I hope someone can help regarding the ability to get CCCAM on the tiger Z280 receiver. I recently purchased this unit overseas and I am presently getting the iptv channels. I wanted to get the CCCAM system active, I did manage to get a free cline online that tested active, upon entering the information in the CCCAM menu of the receiver all I get is a connection failure. I have been at this for several days now. I cannot load the file via usb , it gives me an error in file type. I have tried everything that I have been reading online and in forums to no availability. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I tried to load up a photo of the CCCAM server setup but it kept on failing. The setup is: it seems straight forward.

    Hello mike123333,

I think that the free c line you got is overloaded that is why you can't connect to it. I think you should try satlover's free c lines. Server 3 lines are often busy but if you collect some useful posts, you can have access to server 4 c lines which are very good.

I hope I could help you.

    best regards,

    bakfitty

Thanks for the rely, after trying many more times I finally managed to log onto the server, but unsure how to proceed with getting the channels. What would I need from here? I am not directly hooked up to a satellite antenna, also do I need a some sort of viewer to view the channels? this stuff is all new to me.Thanks.

        Hi mike123333,

In order to watch tv, you will need to connect your satellite dish with your receiver (connect the lnb of your antenna with your box via coax cable). Then, you will have to align your antenna to the satellite you want to watch. Finally, you have to log onto your server and you can watch tv.

I hope that I could help you.

        best regards,

        bakfitty

Bakfitty, I understand about the satellite dish and receiver I have a stand alone system. I am more interested in the CCCAM on this new receiver I recently purchased over seas. From my understanding you do not need a dish pointed to the specific satellite to get the channels is this correct? CCCAM is talking to a server that will pick the open channels and sent back to the receiver, all I want to know is what specific program is needed to view the server channels? maybe I am all wet on this one..this stuff is new to me.

            Hi mike 123333,

You don't need any specific program, cccam is enough for it. You said that your cccam is talking to the server so there is no problem and you can watch tv.

I hope that my post was useful to you.

            best regards,

My question is do I need to use a dish satellite in order to utilize the CCCAM sever? I live in the USA and if that is the case I will not be able to get any European satellites. I am not sure what would eb available or us on the CCCAM in the US.

                Hi mate

You can't receive any european satellite is USA.

Don't try to use a european server to USA because you will never manage to watch something.

I can mention you 2 providers that you can watch in the USA via satellite. The first one is "Dish USA" and the second one is "DirecTV". Try to get a good line to one of them. You can get more info about these packages here:

Thanks for the responses..I don't think there will be too much Clines for dish or direct, they are difficult to get around.
