      Hi mate

I use the last version of cccam 2.3.0 and I have not any problem so far.

You can try to install it directly through the gemini server from your box.

If you have problem, uninstall it and restart your box.

Then, try to install it manually by putting the files in tmp folder and install it from there.

cccam is a good first introduction to card sharing: simple to install, straightfoward, easy to maintain config an to uptdate cline

oscam is a good second stage approach, as
        - he requires some baground to make easy the configuration
        - has much more functionnalities such as a cs server management
        - but behaves also in mode client only
        - but takes some more space on flash ram ( for dm500 ... )

Thanks to all. Unfortunately my Dreambox during a flash had a crash and now it doesn't boot. I have to build a Jtag to flash it because the dreamup with nullmodem cable don't start. Hope to can make some test next week otherwise I have to buy a new decoder.

My Dreambox restart to work after a flash with JTAG. I installed the sifteam Image and cccam 2.1.3.
Now the question is where can i find configuration of my cccam as client to view Sky German and perhaps Italy?

What is a tipical configuration file?

            Thanks for your help

              Hi ferrarisat_2

I'm happy for you that you managed to bring to life your box.

A typical cccam.cfg should contain the following:

              ALLOW TELNETINFO: yes
              WEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 16001
              SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
              TELNETINFO LISTEN PORT : 16000
              NEWCAMD CONF : no
              CAID PRIO FILE : /etc/CCcam.prio
              PROVIDERINFO FILE : /etc/CCcam.providers
              CHANNELINFO FILE : /etc/CCcam.channelinfo
SHOW EXTENEDED CLIENT INFO : yes
              WEBINFO USERNAME : *******
              WEBINFO PASSWORD : *******
              TELNETINFO USERNAME : ******
              TELNETINFO PASSWORD : ******
              MINI OSD : yes
              DEBUG : no
              DISABLE EMM : no
              EMM THREADS : 1
              EXTRA EMM LEVEL : yes
              SOFTKEY FILE : /usr/keys/Softcam.Key
              AUTOROLL FILE : /usr/keys/AutoRoll.Key
              STATIC CW FILE : /usr/keys/constant.cw
              LOG WARNINGS : /tmp/warnings.txt
Of Course, in order to watch the packets that you want , you need a good working C-line

                Re: CCcam on DB7000

                Hello Kalpikos,
                thank you for your answer.

her my questions to understand what i'm doing:

ALLOW TELNETINFO: yes -> is this necessary? for what?
WEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 16001 -> is this port a standart port or spcific for a server?
SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000 -> is this port a standart port or spcific for a server?
                TELNETINFO LISTEN PORT : 16000
                NEWCAMD CONF : no
                CAID PRIO FILE : /etc/CCcam.prio
ROVIDERINFO FILE : /etc/CCcam.providers -> has to be updated or can i mantain the original from cccam?
CHANNELINFO FILE : /etc/CCcam.channelinfo ->has to be updated or can i mantain the original from cccam?
SHOW EXTENEDED CLIENT INFO : yes -> is this necessary? for what?
WEBINFO USERNAME : ******* -> will I receive it from server?
WEBINFO PASSWORD : *******-> will I receive it from server?
TELNETINFO USERNAME : ****** ->is this the username of my image?
TELNETINFO PASSWORD : ******->is this the password of my image?
MINI OSD : yes -> is this necessary? for what?
DEBUG : no -> is this necessary? for what?
DISABLE EMM : no-> is this necessary? for what?
EMM THREADS : 1-> is this necessary? for what?
EXTRA EMM LEVEL : yes-> is this necessary? for what?
                SOFTKEY FILE : /usr/keys/Softcam.Key
                AUTOROLL FILE : /usr/keys/AutoRoll.Key
                STATIC CW FILE : /usr/keys/constant.cw
                LOG WARNINGS : /tmp/warnings.txt

I'm sorry but I will begin to understand the CS-system and study it.

                  Dear ferrarisat_2

All these lines above can help you for better results but they are it's not necesary to be in the cccam.cgf.

They nothing have to do with the server.

Webinfo username and pass are given from you and allow you to check the activity of cccam.
                  The same is for telnetinfo.

I can't explain to you here on this thread all the above lines.
