CCcam freeze HELP!!

Hello guys, I have a problem and I wanted to talk to you, use a subscription shared by a friend of mine, I use a 3G internet connection with which I am on Three 4Mb / s with 100ms ping.
I have a decoder skybox F3S, my problem is that of freeze continues on Sky channel it, but I do not know if the problem depends on the cline or the Internet.
My friend says that he is all ok ..
What do you think?

Hello

The packet that you want to watch needs very small ping times and I think that 100ms ping is big enough.

Try your box with the subscription that you have in other place with a normal adsl connection with good ping times.
I'm sure that you will not have any problem.

Where do you get your lines from ?
When I look at the number of posts you have they are not from here.
Try first some lines from different cline sources that have the channel, but do not use more than 1 line at a time.
If you have one that gets you no freezes its not your internetconnection.

there are two things good to know:

1- network time response

2- cam server time response


you can have a fast network and a fast cam server (perfect)
or
you can have a fast network and a slow cam server (freeze)

how to guess it ?

1- network time response
this can be measured with ping , just as you've suggested

2- cam server time response
with cccam, this is given by

/var/tmp/ecm.info

at the line ecm time

if ecm time is too high, you've got freeze

Thanks guys, I have two tests:

Use a good cline so as to exclude other problems of the server.

Try the decoder with a broadband connection with good ping.

Do you think there is a way to try out a cline server premium satlover?

The TS has 3 posts, so isn't than a "not yet" than, or has the minimum required number of posts from 10 posts been removed ?

Indeed, it is a 'not yet' as you said. But when the TS reaches the required number of posts, he can get access to server 3 and 4.

not sure if the 'rules' are still the same, but afaik also new members can see the first block of server 3 clines - followed by the next block from 10 posts and then from 30 ; 50 posts for server 4 ... - as said above: info here: http://www.sl-forums.com/forum/free-...art-again.html

Didn't realise you could share a cline with other people.

Yeah he will be able to see the satlover clines before he gets to 10 post but i have tried them myself and they do freeze. Better to try a 24 hour test from a seller to rule out server problem.

Yes, the other SL servers are better.
For testing purpose it might even be better to try some random spammed clines that are found on some other sites.

But is it true that 2 people can share 1 subscription, i thought that a server will lock out as soon as it detects 2 different ips are using 1 cline.

You need to check with the line supplier to see if you can share, some may allow you to do so by paying extra. You can NOT share Satlover lines.

No server allows this.
If the server detects 2 different Ips at the same time, it blocks these Ips and bans them.

If you want to use a second receiver, then the server can give you a new c-line with better price than the first, but this depends on how good is the server.
