works with cccam and it doesn't depend on the version (if you use 2.011 or higher).
Do normal clines work in your cccam? If yes, the cccam is ok.
    Sometimes it's a simple spelling failure (e. g. pass - user).
CCcam alone works properl, and the line data work properly on mgcamd. I just copied and pasted them to the cccam.cfg.
I think I've narrowed down the problem now to settings.

I need to know if there are some settings on the server side to stop running on cccam, or extra settings can be added to cccam to run it.

A last hint (to check the spelling of the lines):

      ****** for:

      "NewCamd Server Info Converter"

I think it was ver "by tounsi9_4".
So you can change lines in different formats.

But I think that such programs could be used to steal server info. I've read a lot of warnings about these before.
Anyway, I do copy paste data, so I'm sure there are no spelling errors.

As I said above, it's posible the server to not allow cccam clients.
Probably hi has a mgcamd server with an extra setting refusing connection with other cams.
That's means , even oscam will not work with this line.
Try to contact with him and ask for more details about how you can connect to his server.

So I guess, that's probably the case.
Can anything be done about that from cccam? adjust settings ...?

              try this _X_ :

              _X_ : stealth modes ( )

              # syntax for to add newcamd server connection

              # N: 127.0.0.1 10000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 1 _X_

              # _X_ : stealth modes: 0 = disabled, 1 = mgcamd new, 2 = mgcamd old, 3 = evocamd, 4 = generic

                Tried all modes, none worked.

                But what is stealth?

I tried 2.2.1 and 2.3.0 but none worked. Do you believe older ones would work?

                      i believe nothing !

                      who knows ?

just try it and see !

                      hint, to make it easy:
just copy cccam_version into /tmp with ftp
                      then

                      ln -sf /tmp/cccam_version /var/bin/cccam_230

I'm afraid that nothing can be done.
The server must change their settings in order the cccam can connect to it.

Just be carefull, because I know some server that not only allow using other cams but even ban the clients from the server as panishment because they think that these clients are trying to steal the server through the line.

do you know, by the way, if (like cccam), mgcamd can behave or not as a local server (for further hops) ?

                          thx

Do you know if it's possible to keep cccam and mgcamd running at the same time? When I select one, the other is disabled.

                              No, it's impossible.
Mgcamd can't be used as server for further hops.
Only cccam and oscam can do this, but you must have the rights from the server allowing you to reshare his line.

                              No, they can't run together.
                              Only one each time.

If you have both N lines and C lines and you want to use mgcamd you can put the N lines in newcamd.list (as CWS lines) and the Clines in cccamd.list.

This program is an offline-converter and not to compare with cardsh..._info.
                                It generates the lines.

When I created my lines with it, they all worked well (if the server worked).
