    Loadbalance preference

From the version history of cccam:

    Ver 2.2.1

-added via 3.0 emu (add working *** in SoftCam.Key)
    -fixed parsing global emm setting
-fixed occasional freeze (bug since 2.2.0)
    -random loadbalance preference
    -smartcard fixes

What does the fourth point "random loadbalance preference" mean?

Load balance is a useful option if you've more identical cards.
So your cards don't charge too much with more requests for each one.

As next, service id choose, for load balance has been upgraded.

    Cheers

      For better understanding:

"...more identical cards" - in your own server? It's for server holders and not for clients?
It means a better distribution of the incomming ecm-requests to the available correct caID cards?

And what do you mean with "service id choose"? Also for servers and not for clients?

Suppose, you have 2 identical sky world cards into slot1 and slot2 of your dreambox: with load balancing, you'll only have one request addressed to one of it and not double request two each one. It's useful two save system resources.

While, if you have a sky world card and a sky movie card, load balancing is useful to know that only one card can open some service ids, but not the other.

          Re: Loadbalance preference

Thanks max2000, a last question to avoid any misunderstanding.

Loadbalance is a very usefull function for servers (and the server holders) for a better performance, but as a pure cline client it has no effect if they use a cccam version with or without loadbalance?

I ask because I have an older receiver, which works best with an older version (ver 2.011 - no loadbalance). I can upgrade to 2.21 or higher, but then I often have cccam- or even system-freezes.

          Thanks in advance
