ECM not ok = crash CCcam 221 ?

    Dear all,
I'm writing this post just to find a solution of my problem in subject
I have a server (Sunray 800SE) as server where I installed CCCam 221. I put a regular smartcard (1805) in the smartreader (sci0). The client (VU Solo with CCCam 2.1.3) somethimes sends a wrong ECM (in fact in the CCcam webinfo I see ECM not ok) but after few minutes, the CCcam emu of the server (2.2.1) crash.
How can I avoid to restart the CCcam server? I think that a server have to be in run without to leave a client any possibility to crash the server.
    Any suggestions are welcome
    Kindest regards,
    Jacobbe73

Are you sure that cc*am crash is related to ecm not ok ?
I think a direct relation should give an instant crash, not after a few minutes.
In any case, you could do without cc*am on your server:
just install osc*m as card reader and activate newcamd protocol.
You will connect from client with a nline directly to osc*m.
    Bye

ECM not OK is the reply when someone is trying to view a channel not subscribed to and cannot give a vaild ECM answer, Oscam would cure this with a whitelist for your particular card

        Absolutely right !

But, in any case, ecm not ok shouldn't be a problem ... it's only a "cosmetic" issue.

          Dear all,
first of all I say to you thank a lot for your quickly and usefull answers!!
I'm sure tha CC*m crashed for one client sent a wrong ECM (not ok). It crashed 10 times in 15 minutes, and to solve the proble I removed that F line in the server configuration and no other additional crash I had. I can say that it was that clent to crash the CC*m server.
I always worked very well with this cam (221) but I can't accept that one client can stop the server for some bad ECM.....
I'm interested for an alternative cam, like OSc*m but which version I have to use with my cards?
If anyone could be help to use this emu I can send him a PM because I need the right configuration to manage these cards with automatic update also..
          Kindest regards.
          Jacobbe73.
