    info on channel.prio

    Hi all.
I get only from the Hotbird satellite. My configuration is dm7025, Newnigma2 and cccam 2.2.1.
In channel.prio file I put (for testing) to the beginning of the lines of CanalSat (sat 19E) to ignore this provider but in the list of share (and providers) I continue to see it as I was expecting to have it excluded.
I misunderstood the operation of channel.prio I'm wrong or something?
    thanks

Seems as if it shows you what shares are possible at the server (but it doesn't realy share).

So if I disable everything that is not on sat 13E I improve the performance of the CCCam emulator even though I still see all the providers in the list?

If you disable caids cccam won't send the disabled ecms to the server. This reduces the data amount a bit (when the provider uses simulcrypt).

OK. I think I begin to understand ... I hope
take this opportunity to ask you if you know what is the meaning of the column Nodes in the "available shares" of CCCam.info: they are relative to the channels transmitted from the provider, or is anything?

In "shares" you can see what cards are plugged to the server at this moment.
Many cards of "your" provider means a good (or better) chance that your ecm request will be answered in time (within 1 - 3 seconds).
Satlover has many cards for many providers, but only a view for each provider. Thats the reason why some ecm-requests can't be answered in time.

Excuse me, but are not very practical technical details.
But the reception of the ecm must be continuous from the server so if there is an interruption you have freeze, or is there some sort of "chache time" I continue to see for a few seconds even though I lost the collegamnto with the need?

Actually the DCW remains the same for some seconds (depending from encoding, for example N*S of S*Y IT changes very quickly, less Via*ess of swiss channels).
If you don't get connection for new one, you have a freeze

                  OK
Then in the column "CAID / Idents" screen "Server connection" when I see the word "local 09cd: 000000 25 (5)" 25 is the number of cards that the server shares and therefore the higher, the better the server? and 5 in brackets what it means?

No, it means that you have sent 25 ecm to the server and received 5 decrypted controlwords. 20 ecm requests are not answered. This means (normaly) a view freezes if this is your only c-line, but for a free-server a normal or even a good performance.

Things are starting to be a bit clearer.
But then, if I have multiple connected servers that share the same CAID/Providers might not have freeze because I get th ECM a bit from a server and a little by another. It is correct?

The Problem is that in the "mean time" nearly all free-servers (i think we are talking about free-servers) are overloaded by thousands of users all over the world.
The cam sends the ecms to a server and if there is no answer it sends the ecm to another server witch also doesn't answer and so on...
If the nessssary controlword doesn't come in a view seconds you have freez.

I understand ... so it is useless to have many servers but simply "few but good".
                          just one more question.
Because if a server share a provider, such as S*Y, I can see only some channels and not others?

Ohh, you can ask what and how much you want. Thats why a board like this exists.

You can only watch those channels, which the shared card can open. Normaly its the standard package of most providers (film and sport). The ppv-channels don't belong to these standards so the don't open.
