    Two clines as primary secondary

If I put two clines to different ip's will they act as primary secondary the primary being the first one in the list or is there a way in cccam to configure this behaviour. I was thinking if the first server fails I can connect to the second as a backup.

Default configuration of CCCam is to try ALL servers in the list receiving needed info from faster in the list (that have your required info, obviously).
If you would to have manual backup server you can use some OSD plugin and enable and disable primary and bakup when you need it.

Alternative is to use oscam and loadbalancer function- Set up an high value for primary cline and a smaller for the backup (for example 500 and 100). With this config your receiver uses always primary and in some few cases backup (uses it when primary is very slow to response or down, when you watch a channel and record another or if you are requesting an high number of info to servers due to fast zapping).

So there is no way to have primary/secondary always preferring primary and using secondary when primary is down with cccam config? My 2 providers only support cccam so I can't switch to a new cam.

If you are using only cccam there is no simple solution for this problem (as far as I know). But as said before cccam uses all clines and switches automaticly.
