    Cccam vs Cccam209?

    Hi Mates!

I have a DM500HD with OpenPli and Enigma2, in my Dreambox I have two different softcams, Cccam and Cccam209? What´s the difference between them? Do the both answear to Cccam.cfg?

I mean if I program that file with userid, password and so on, does that information go for the both of them??

    Regards /D

Presumably different versions. They both use the same config file, but only one will be active.

sometime there is case when server advised the customer to use a specific CCcam. If its not specified from the server then you can try both and see which one works for you best. My advise is, don't go for CCcam version, go for the quality.

There are many different versions of cccam, some are more popular than others.
I use cccam 2.2.1 as I find it very stable and has never given me problems.
as stated before, only 1 can be active at a time.

I prefer the latest version 2.3. Works very stable with almost all c-line servers.
But only one c-line from each server. The all have special firewalls. ;-)
