    Re: CCcam Freezing Problems Explained

Irdeto 2 is sometimes difficult on server 4 to decrypt fast enough to be watchable... Yesterday I finally watched my first football match with server 4 with not 1 single freeze on viaccess.

Yes not bad at all this CS server, but if you pay for it you have then the request that the programs you have paid for are wathcable per CS.

P.S It's only CS server that I could found where you can take just Boquets and the pay for them. So you actually pay for that what you watch

              Filter the hop2's out."

How can we o that? How do y study this?

Use the cccam info tool to optimize your .providers, channel info and .prio file.

read back through this thread and then optimize the above mentioned files or alter your cccam.cfg file instead

To limit the hop of the reciver in the cccam.cfg you need to enter the following line :

                  Example :

                  C: cccam.satlover.com 21088 password www.satlover.com no { 0:0:3 }

The last digit is where you can determinate if you will recive cards from hop 1,2 or 3. It is not advisable to pute the value higher then 3. So if you put a value of 1 instead of 3 then you just get the cards that are one hop away from you.

                  I hope this was helpfull

Sometimes cccam says that i am opening a chanel from a peer, but it isnt.

cccam can be optimized for all of your channels by adding in var/etc the following files:

                        CCcam-Prio
                        Code:
                        http://www.satlover.com/forum/cccam/14217-cccam-prio-10.html
                        CCcam.providers
                        Code:
                        http://www.satlover.com/forum/cccam/9752-cccam-providers-5.html
                        CCcam.channelinfo
                        Code:
                        http://www.satlover.com/forum/cccam/2448-cccam-channelinfo-6.html
At these pages you can find the latest version of files
You have to add in cccam.cfg these lines

                        CAID PRIO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.prio
                        PROVIDERINFO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.providers
                        CHANNELINFO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.channelinfo

                          Freezing - some possible causes
Most people who have been using CCcam servers for some time will have probably experienced freezing at some point.

There are several things that will cause freezing, also remember you have no control over what is happening on the server you are connected to. A lot of the problems come from the other end.

Firstly, when you allocated your router ports, set them for TCP/UDP.
You can test if the ports are opening by going here:

                          http:// www. amule.org/testport.php

                          Common causes are:

Your internet connection is slow. Check your ping times and DONT download torrents at the same time when viewing - sharing with CCcam.

The person you are connected to has slow internet connection. By this i mean not only the speed but the response time as well ( witch is more critical than speed itself ) .

You have the same C Line active in more than one receiver
You can't do that. Think it as making a call with several persons to answer in the other side ....

You have two different C lines to two different servers - both supplying the same card.
This can cause problems. Test and find with witch you have the better performance and block the other card.

You are receiving the same card on hop1 & hop2 etc..
                          Filter the hop2's out.

The server is overloaded at the other end.
The most common cause of them all .An overloaded hop1 server can cause your file to connect to a Hop2 instead - but then keeps trying to get back on the hop1.

Because a guys card shows you hop1 - it does NOT mean it is hop1 - or he even has a card. There are methods of faking this - and a lot out there doing it. Try another server with the same card to compare.

Some hop2's can be faster than some hop1's - filter them out.

Your Ccam config is not optimized.
Look at my other post regarding cccam.cfg

Your dish is not tuned correctly to the sat.

Some people will not accept a connection that is slower than 100ms. If a connection is around 400ms - it is quite possible that person does not have the relevant card.

Certain cards freeze/glitch if the other persons file is not set up correctly.

As mentioned above, you have no control over the set up at the other end. Sometimes you have to try several sources to test for a reliable server.

Great tutorial followed your instructions and works flawlessly on NDS 28.2
                          thanks alot matey

than before. I suppose it will be different for everyone depending on what type of box and what type of encryption (NDS, Nagra ect) and also your internet connection

Hello m8, I'd just add greater possibility of control and ecm response in adding cline with 0 hops, and afterwards deciding which providers you want to view.
                            For example:
                            Digital+ (19E/9E) on hop2 (0100:4106)
                            Canal+ France (19E) on hop1 (0100:3315)
                            Canal+ Nederland/Euro1080 (19E/23E) on hop1 0100:006A
                            Nova+***+ARY/TVB/ABS/Showtime+ART+JSC/CTI/Bulsatcom/DSTV/TVHOME (13E/9E/5W/7W/15W/39E/68E/DVBC) on hop1 (0604)
                            SKY Italia (13E) on hop1 (093B)
                            SKY UK (28E) on hop1 (0961)
Green ones are Provider ID's, use without front zeros

The line should be es follows:
                            Code:
                            C: cccam.satlover.com 21088 password www.satlover.com no { 0:0:[B]0[/B], 100:4106:2, 100:3315:1, 100:6A:1, 604:0:1, 93B:0:1, 961:0:1 }
Pay attention that with this method, there's a way of excluding extra reshared cards offered from some server to you as a client. That possibility is left for server owners to filter on their servers. A situation for that which I described is in thread How to improve Cccam performance by controlling extra reshares
For which you need CCcam.info plugin for windows or linux.
You can also exclude extra reshared cards in your Cline as a client, that you identify by this method from above as well, like described in Fline.

On the other side, I haven't yet found a way to filter one of two or more cards from same hop away and the same prov. ID??? Or how to even identify which card is connected to our Dream since there's no a way of identifying one of them as all are the same ID's. If someone has a way or CCcam command for this I'd be gratefull !!!
Only way to identify those cards is by Server ecm speed response to our client which is done by client side of CCcam...!

For example, If two same cards on hop2 have ecm response above 1.0ms, but third one (also the same ID and hop) have ecm resp time 0.5ms in average, then unconditionally our CCcam is choosing the better card until ecm time changes in favor of other card, which would again unconditionally result in freezing because cccam is taking that other card now !!!
It would be good that we have an option to choose between those sam ID cards on same hop..., But then again, it needs to be implemented in one of the next CCcam versions. It would be a great idea.

There's nice opportunity to ring the bell to CCcam IHAD or Uvadi team to implement that possibility in their next CCcam release!

                            cheers m8s
