cccam and newcamd

hi

just wondering what the difference was, ive got 2 test lines at the moment, both seem to be working smoothly, but im wondering what the difference is between the 2 lines? what is cccam and newcamd???

they are both a ( sharing protocal software )
but someboxes perform better with nlines, or visa versa, i have both in my box.

i couldn't tell the difference in terms of quality both my test lines were running just as good as the other.

MGcamd running with an Nline gives the server better ECM times and more peers so to speak where as CCcam does not, It all depends what protocol is being used for the card reader in the first place

I run 2 clines and 1 nline together in cccam with no problems at all.
I have my sly uk nline, my multisat cline and my satlover server 2 cline all running together.
I just configured it so my 2 clines ignore sly uk and it all works perfectly.

Be sure to have on your cfg file :

N line: you get only 1 card directly from your partner's receiver(very fast line),not everyone is sharing n line
C line: you get more than 1 card (betwen 2 and .....)

Thats not quite correct N: lines can share more than one card at a time the only problem is its a lot slower at opening multi packages.

i am not a expert,but as far as i know you can share from n line just the cards that you have(1,2 or with smargo)without 256 trick

The actual correct setting for N lines is :

I didn't know newcamd very well (actually I used once this protocol but on Windows with Winsc) and I didn't know this syntax: so it's enough to put 1 or 2 at the end of des key?

There are some differences between Newcamd and CCCam.
Newcamd protocol is often used by Russian CS payservers.
They often open just one package on one port with a single N-line.
CCCam servers often offer all packages on same port.
Newcamd traffic is ciphering but it doesn't matter for they almost always use the same Deskey - 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
These are two very good card sharing protocols and it's little incorrect to compare them. Stable work of the box depends on CS server admin's and user's hand-straightness, not a protocol used.

newcamd is more stable and it's safer protocol than cccam.
camd3 is also a good one.

I think that idea comes from your experience of good and bad providers, but it's not universal...
About "safer": since they all use same Deskey - 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14, security is not really better, if you mean this thing.

About security ,you have to be sure to know what do you put on your config file,no matter the cam you use.
About liability ,the servers will be the reason of your the quality of your image (smooth or freeze)
