    CCCam reconnection after disconnect

Hi there, pretty new to card sharing and have a question please to those more knowledgeable on the subject.....probably everyone

Sometimes my friends server goes offline, (he uses newcamd) and the picture freezes, which is pretty understandable, but when the server goes back online, how do i make it reconnect by itself? it seems happy to sit there with a black screen, changing channel doesn't work, i have to restart the Cam most of the time, it's very annoying

I am using CCCam 2.2.1 and Vix Latest Image on VU+ Duo Official

    anyway to fix this issue

    Many Thanks

    Jay

Your friend have an issue with Newcamd config file...
    Since I haven't got Vu+ I can't help you.
I advise you to check in online blue panel of Vu+ where you can find Newcamd and install it again. Or even you can try CCcam since it's much better cs client then newcamd.

    Try it and report back.
    cheers

Thats strange, mine restarts just by changing channels.
Or when I disable one of my lines in cccam the other line kicks in automatically.
I guess if restarting cccam is what works, then that's what you'll have to do.
I would suggest trying a plugin such as cccam switch but as you're using vix, I won't as it's got major issues on the vix image.
You could install multi quick button plugin and assign a button on your remote to restart cccam.

I was going to suggest cccam switch plugin so that he can flick between his friends line and a satlover line when his friends line freezes, as it is really quick to do so. Much quicker than restarting cccam,
But vix and cccam switch have major issues with the receiver restarting and green screen of death showing.
If he was using blackhole this would be an option, but not on vix.

the problem is not newcamd, oscam, or cccam, the problem is your frend have no card, he is a client and reshare the card to you.

Thanks everyone for your replies, and helpful suggestions, i have installed multi quick button for now, which makes things a bit easier thanks

In regards to the quoted comment, not sure what you mean? i know the card is in the receiver, i was there when we set it up, it is only us 2 who use it.
