newcamd is more stable in my experience, its commonly used by pay servers offering single packages.

in my experience cccam less stable both pay and free server

It would be great if satlover servers change to newcamd.

my server for sly is in n/line, like shiplo says, it is only one package he supply to me, perhaps thats the reason why, if you look at free n/lines from other sites they give you in n/lines as they all only one package except different port numbers. hope that helps little

there is absolutely no truth in the statement that newcamd is more Stable than CCcam, It as after all just another softcam that happens to be more stable on certain satellite receivers the first one that comes to mind is the Spiderbox.

if you have aspiderbox then yes by all means search out a server that will provide you with an Newcamd line, But if you have a linux receiver it really does not matter.

would be interested to hear what others will have to say on this. if the above statement is true then it just negates what i've recently learned from here.

my experience is that newcamd is more stable than cccam protocol.
i've test loads of it, doesn't matter if pay or free

Your not the only one who has tested plenty of pay and free servers and one softcam protocol is not better than any other, I have also tested with my own sever using both cccam, newcamd and mgcamd and they all give out the same results no difference what so ever.

If you have a stable and glitch/freeze free operation then newcamd and cccam will operate identical.

                      re: Cccam or Newcamd?

From what I have learned cccam and newcamd are separate emulators and they are similar serving their own class of cards, however cccam does use more bandwidth than newcamd and could be the reason why there may be picture freezing if a user has a slow internet connection, this is why it is claimed that newcamd is supposed to be more stable.

                        Hi,
Yes You Are right. Bandwidth is problem for cccam.
But a time ago I used Gbox sharing even it work on lowest dial up Internet..
                        regards

Belive me, cccam will work even on EDGE GSM connection if properly configured and using a proper box

If you have a spiderbox I would defiantly recommend Newcamd over cccam.

does that make it box related? sorry, just asking as it got me confused.
