        Re: Cccam on windows

To go back on the main subject, I did some test with HDVB CardSharing Client/Server.

I can use it successfully as client (to connect to C lines) but not as server (F line).
I write a F line in the config file, I see in the software on of my dreambox as client but impossible to have light on my screen.

Has someone already try to use HDVB as cccam server ?

            Re: Cccam on windows

No, the goal is to have a PC under Windows that have cccam installed.

This PC can connect to some cccam servers (through internet) and can reshare to my dreamboxes connected on my LAN.

I don't have much knowledge about linux that's why I would like a cccam client/server under windows.

Sorry brother but cccam runs only under linux ... noway to run it under windows without linux emulation

                Re: Cccam on windows

Ok but HDVB CardSharing Client/Server seems to work well on windows. I think it's just the server mode that don't work for me.
                Maybe a wrong config...

                  Re: Cccam on windows

No when you are a clinet it's doesn't matter if you use cccam on linux because all the thing you do is receiving data (the same approach for ports you don't need to open them when you're a client).but it's more different when you're in server because the first time when cccam appears was in linux ... hope that the programmers make us some new application that can make cccam exchange easy !!
NB:HDVB works only with client mode under windows

it's work with mine, as mentioned below, may it will with you,
1st , have you checked your C line which is assigned to you with that F line, do you have re-share rights? if you have re-share rights then you create in your pc F: user1 pass1 192.168.1.1 (your pc ip address)
                      in your Dreambox C: 192.168.1.1 (your pc ip address) 12000 user1 pass1

                        Re: Cccam on windows

Ok I will try this when I come back home.

If it works, I think it will be the best solution for me ;-)

Can you maybe send me the version of HDVB you use (and maybe an example of config file) by PM ?

                        Thanks

pc would be 192.168.1.10 or so

                            Re: Cccam on windows

It depends of your router configuration. If you have activate the DHCP server and you have put a range of IP between 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.23 for example and you have set the ip of the router to 192.168.1.24, the first PC will have 192.168.1.1 and the second 192.168.1.2.

You can also hardcode the IP for each PC.

So, I did more test with HDVB. I try the modifications on the cline give by gohelh.

In the application I see my server as connected and also my client, ECM are send to the client (according to HDVB) but I don't have light on my screen (on the client dreambox).

It is very strange for me.

Nobody had the same problem ?
