I don't know why today with a newly done CCcam 2.2.1
I can see a lot of servers that continuje to use especially the CCcam 2.0.11
Is there any mysterous hold face in this version ?

Is it true that a malicious operator can configure a false locale with this version ?
In other terms, a peer can see a locale card in the server that doesn't exist in fact.

First of all CCcam 2.0.11 is the most stable until now, at least i think so.

The myths sometimes are true other time are not

I personally use CCcam 2.2.1 and I had no any problems until now.

Everything work's great and stable, I didn't try 2.0.11 so I can not judge about it.

The real stability is seen when you have 10-20 users, and if 2.2.1 works fine for you, that means that you managed to properly configure the server, and you are lucky to not having any incompatibilities hardware/software/cards.

Maybe it is a stupid question, i am new in this. My Mvision receiver has installed the software cccam 2.0.11, and there is not updates. Will i have any problem to connect with a server with a younger version?

With any version above 2.0.11 is ok

Not only OK but it seems that some fonctionnalities are available in the CCCam 2.0.11 that you can't get in the latest versions, like let believe your peers that you have local cards when when you get only virtuals .

I always try to use the same version as the one on the servers I'm connecting to.

2.0.11-s works great for me but I can't wait for the turbo version

It's not a bad idea to have the same version of CCcam in all the receiver in your local network , BUT ,

You're not going to change CCcam version each time you connect to a new server !!!

I have both cccam 2.0.11 and cccam 2.2.1 installed on my DM 500 plus and I see no difference between the two.
I also get “0” cards when I input more than 3 clines in my cccam.cfg.
Would be nice if someone could post a good typical cccam.cfg for us newbies.

This is that "special" version of CCcam, last post have been deleted but i don't see any rule break.

Any way this special version called "MyCam" is starting from 120$, for more than basic features you will have to pay more.

I donīt know pay for the cccam (MyCam) seems to be okay but for the basic versio 120$ that is a little bit to much. I appriciate the hard work that this guys do and I am will to pay something for it (donate). After all this version will become public after a while (my opinion).
