    Re: C line Attributes

    What attribute do you mean? The only one you can really change is the number of hops you receive (the {0:0:3 } bit). You can change to 1 or 2 hops if you want, but that's pretty much all you can do.

      I think it doesn't make a difference. all the cards are received on hop 1 i think ( some trickery is used).
      copy the line as is. you don't have to change anything.

        Re: C line Attributes

        Thanks for replies guys, the attributes setting I meant are when you right click ccam config, in Dreabox control center.
        777, 775 or 644 . Dosen't seem to make any difference to satlover c line , but just wondered if there was any setting preference

          Re: C line Attributes

          As long as the CCcam process can read the file I don't think it matters.

          The CCcam process runs as root user, and CCcam.cfg is owned by root, so your examples will not make any difference.

          Mine is set to 600 and it works fine. This gives root read/write acess, and zero access to anyone else.

            If you don't use all the providers you can have signifiant improvement if you block those specific providers

                Something like this should work

                C: serever.name 12345 user pass no { 0:0:2, CAID:0:0 }

                Adjust as required for what you want to block.

                  must be easier to just edit the cccam.prio file

                    Depends on the box you have and the emu running as not all of them use the cccam.prio file or even have it installed.

                      Without the cccam.prio you want be able to use the cccam.cfg lines at all. In the cccam.prio you must have the basic channels that you want to decrypt or else it won´t work.

                        erm no you dont you can take the cccam.prio file out and cccam will still work perfectly without this file

                        its a priority file which lets you set which card takes presidence over another and nothing more

                            This is how I block all other cards except $ky uk local cards.

                            C: server.com 12000 user pass no { 0:0:0, 963:0:1 }
