      Thanks for reply.
I m confused about UNPAIRED SMARTCARD of Indian dth (e.g Dishtv,Bigtv). Is there any option to make paired card to unpair?? How many setellites can be shared by using 1 Dream box?

Are you able to put a proper server in front of that to handle the load or does the sat box handle everything itself?

You could also use an old pc acting as server, a linux distro as OS, card server (oscam) + cccam for sharing and, of course, a smart card reader.
This is the cheapest solution but very robust at the same time.

            bye

If you want to keep your cs network small (2-30 some cards can handel more clients some not) than you can use a linux box, but if you go to setup a bigger server go with a thin client (much better than an old pc and very cheap) and a good cardreader and install oscam.

Its easy to setup a small cs networ you can do it in 10 minuts, if you go big than you must read ! all what you need is in this forum. (Don't mean it in a bad way but it's easier to help you if you know what you're doing.)

A thin client is a smal pc like the IGEL 564LX you can run linux on it and install cardreaders, they consume very little power.
You can also use a router as a server, or the raspberry pi.

in my opinien better than an old crappy pc, the consume too much energy.

Ok, now I understand and I agree with you that, on the long run, the energy saved will pay back the initial expense.
And it's quite fast too !
