A few rules to follow if you want a stable server running.
1. Avoid over-Hop 2, and preferably and only Hop1 (Exchange only on local maps). CCCam.cfg configuration should be:
F: user password 0 0 0 {0:0:2} {} {} server.***.***
C: server.***.*** 12,789 user password no {0:0:1}
All we have to put receivers on standby or switch to a free channel if you do not watch TV.
Good communication with our peers in the leaves is also one of the important things ... so before or after you delete someone from your server, attempt to tell him about it.
2. Use this option in CCcam.cfg: MINIMUM DOWNHOPS: 1
3. Try to find a place in the receiver running a script to monitor whether CCcam always work at the time.
4. If necessary, update CCcam.cfg least once a day or use a script to do this for you, however, do not overdo it with updates to your friends still see you
5. Put your server in C lines as PING and ECM rates. Place the fastest server to you first in their leaves. Also C line filter to avoid false and old maps.
6. If you can put the SID in order to avoid any conflict with other SID'S.
7. Avoid downloading and uploading files, and especially at peak hours when watching TV.
8. Burrs lines of servers that have a good ping time and close to 100 ms. Slow and unstable ping, violate the good work of CCcam emulator. (Because this point may hate me but I disagree, because they all have a nice Internet connection.)
9. Contact your server directly to the router. Avoid switches that lie after the router and your server is placed on it. Use a UPS to avoid any interruption of power.
10. If you have multiple servers, it is better that they use the same static IP address but different ports.
And one more important: Always test lines and test not only local cards but also cards with higher hop and opportunity for resher because no one knows where to appear much sought.
