how to: newcamd in cccam

Hi,

I hope this is the correct forum.
I have a clone dreambox with gemini image and ccam with oscam, it came with the box.

Can any one please tell me how to place newcamd server codes and details into the cccam server, I am using the cams line manager to put the codes into ccam, but do not know how to do it with newcamd.

A tutorial step by step would be most appreciated

Hello kamando and welcome to forum.

First of all I advise you next time to do a search before ask help, but as you are newbie...it's ok.

The only thing you must do is to open cccam.cfg and put a N line.

N: <server> <port> <user> <password> 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

N line can be used as C line in cccam.cfg

Hi, kalpikos,
thanks for the quick reply.

I entered the information into the newcamd to cccam converter but when i tried to put this into the c lines manager it would not except it.

would i need to change the N: to C: instead to enter it into clines manager.
if this can be done with another software or way could you please advice.

The line that you must put in cccam.cfg is N.

N: <server> <port> <user> <password> 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

eg
you have found something like that

Host: localoca dyndns.org
User: dream
pass: dream666
port: 2222 for kkk channel ....

your N line is:

N: localoca dyndns.org 2222 dream dream666 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

copy paste to cccam.cfg and you are ok.

what is the diference between ccamd and newcamd?
is possible to use the data from a newcamd server to create a cline?

It is logical to create an N line. Since the Newcamd server will need all the information.
Taking the example from kalpikos message.

Try restarting the CCcam emu.
If that did not help, the servrr may be under pressure or the internet line is slow.
It is worth noting that a large file download by your computer also causes glitches.
Another source of interference is the house microwave oven or even your mobile phone.

To improve reception you can try changing the router band from router setup.

Stefman, if you're using N line with NDS port server then it's not so strange since there can be N lines that are on hop2 and Newcamd line is several times more demanding in ECM traffic then CCcam Clines, which results in more freezing. The same goes for other CA systems as Nagra and Seca!
Nline using more tcp traffic is using more dl bandwith and you in the end of the day finish with some 3 to 5 gb's or more of dl.
