Warning to use oscam as client?

On another source I found a statement, that often cccam-providers warn their customers not to use oscam and they want that cccam is used as client!?

Are there differences as client (not in performance - that's nearly equal) when I use oscam instead of cccam? Or does oscam include something like dangerous functions for providers/servers?

OScam is more powerfull when it comes to functionality. One of the function is cach sharing. Oscam will cache ecm from cccam server for you, and then you can create your own server from the cached ecm.

I think it's probably down to reshare. Probably to stop people from resharing through oscam cache.

in german boards is a warning,

but only for YMOD-OScam ( not for all the rest of versions, stable or unstable )

Decrypted cw in cache - ok, but the cw changes every 5 to 10 seconds and the odd-cw comes 0,6 - 1 sec before the change so with a cache-reshare you will defenitly have glitches/short freezes and it works only with one channel?

Only one channel, right, but no glitches if cached ecm gave no glitches.
Ecm time, when comes from cache, is virtually 0ms.

the only reason they do it is because oscam has a lot customizations that enable to reshare their given fline from the client side.

so they reject oscam use (and even exlude them when they see it) from people who use their service to prevent losses and instabilties from misusers and scammers pretending to be just clients

I have also seen many servers that don't allow using oscam by the users.
In many cases these users are banned from the server because of resharing the line.
Generally speaking, It's a rule for many server... No using oscam

I have see this question on serval forums and they all say that cccam is a bit faster than oscam.

Oscam has much more functionality and possibility than cccam. One of them is to reshare lines from server. I think that is main reason why they prohibit oscam.

Oscam, when used as ccc*am client, can't be distinguished by ccc*am genuine emu.
But if oscam is used to reshare, of course ecm rate rises a lot and you would be probably banned.
It's not the use of oscam itself that leads to be banned ...

As everyone says, it's to do with resharing. This is very easy to do on O$cam, but essential in my case where my tvheadend client will only work with the newcamd protocol. I've not been booted off any servers I've tried yet, though...
