    hi peremacedonia

I don't know about the lg, but my father-in-law has a samsung smart tv, also with dvb-s2 tuner build in - there the whole sat is very very limited - it's still a tv in the first place.

I'm also interested in more answers about this (+ if possible brands and types of tv's), but I'm afraid for cs we'll need a sat-box (or ... perhaps some alternative firmware, but with possible warranty problems as a result ...).

Ocram, there is currently not possible to do this on any smart tv known yet. However this is possible if you use wireless card reader like diablowificam or matrix air.

But through the diablowificam works as a client of a decoder that is set as a server, or you have the option to enter cccam server?

            Hello

I have seen many smart tvs and from what I know the dvb-s2 tuner that they have it's very simple and can be used only for fta HD and SD channels.
There is no way to add a cam or a line, so the cardsh&ring isn't possible.

Smart-tvs are (untill now) closed systems. No (cc, new or mg-) cam support means no cline and so no cardsharing.
Perhaps in the near future someone "opens" this closed systems, but untill then you have to wait...

                  hi kalpikos

fyi: true that there's no possibility at this moment for cs as far as I know, but have seen one working (think it was a Samsung) with a cam (the old original cam for Canal Digitaal Netherlands - not sure: Seca?), all works fine, even original cards updates come in. Didn't try other cams (also pretty much useless these days).

No your LG smart tv cannot be use alone for cs, there are ways to do it but the trouble and money as i heart the dont worth it.

I have a panasonic smart tv and i cannot see that it will ever be able to do c/s not unless someone does a hack for the software

When the demand is big enough, perhaps competent people will start to solve this "problem".
But (I believe so) it will be a closed system with integratet cam e.g. like in ferguson receivers.
