how to install tuxcom on Dreambox dm500

hi can somebody help me how to install tuxcom on Dreambox dm500, i can't install it because it says not enough space what should i delete to install tuxcom thank you

Hi mate

Go to menu > setup > software managment > remove software

Then tell us what exactly you have there in order to say you for sure what you can delete or what you can't.

Generally, you can remove any plugin that you don't use or games or even cams that you don't use.

Also, you can try an image "maxvar" .
Maxvar images have maximum very free space for all that you want for a dm500s.

This package will automatically install the plugin Tuxcom v1.16r3 to your DM equipped with Nabilosat Enigma2 images.
This version is compatible with both SD and HD skins.
Enigma2 will automatically restart upon install/removal.

Also available on the Green Panel for direct download to your DM.

for Dm 500
You managed to install Tuxcom from the Blue Panel. So try to delete it and re-install it from the Blue Panel. Just to make sure that we're referring to the same Plugin, it's listed as Tuxcom 1.16.

First of all I think that our friend have a dm500s and not an enigma2 box and that's why he haven't enough space.

Second, his problem is that the space of his box is not enough for the installation and not how to find the appropriate file.

you should buy a usb stick and move var to that then you would have plenty of space
or do what kalpikos write
deleting some plugins you don't use will give you more space

Dear
dm500s don't have usb port
so, the only can do is to free some space by deleting plugins, games, languages etc

This is the only way that you can do this as DM500 has a very limited space.
