    Hi all,
infostrada in ULL is set by default in fastpath.
With fastweb in ULL you can call the callcenter and set the adsl in fastpath with No cost.
With telecom you have to buy the "Internet Play" option, 3€/month and the line will be in fastpath.
Tiscali have a special plan called "Tiscali Gaming", costs 45€/month and is in fastpath.

With Vodafone/teletu you cannot have fastpath.

In wholesale area (not ULL) you cannot change fastpath/interleaved.

I think also that the best mobile isp in italy now is 3, they have dc-hsdpa at 42mbit/sec on all the network, so is very fast and with veeery low ping.

I think that you would need to be about 30-50 on ping to avoid problems on Videoguard.
      mine is usually between 35-38.

Mate, your problem is definitely related to ping time and the net infrastructure (internet key) you are using.
To tell the truth, 100ms would be still acceptable (if the server is fast enough), but maybe your connection encounters some occasional gaps.

Try pinging continuosly ("ping -t" in windows) and check if ping time is always stable.

          Thank you for your data.
Anyway I was meaning that not everywhere you have the chance to choose and that if you make some measures often this fastpath is not so fast...

Your ping time is a little high.
Usually I see ping time below 100.
I think that here is the problem.

Look, when the OLO doesn't offer ULL coverage in your area, the only solution to have fastpath is to change the provider and return in Telecom (that is the incumbent provider in italy) - and to activate "internet play" option.

The difference between fast and interleaved exists (-30, 40ms)
According to me you can feel the difference between interleaved and fast only if you play games that requires good ping, link any FPS... where 30ms of ping can make de difference

In sat/cardsharing world I think that is more important to have a very stable line (in terms of ping), and not to look at fastpath or interleaved...
a good adsl line (even in interleaved) should not have any problem to ping a cardsharing server in <100ms.

Look I'm new in the forum, and my intention is to buy a new decoder.
Where can I find a guide for VERY NOOB PEOPLE that explains what is Enigma1, Enigma2, CCCam, Oscam and things like that?

              Thank you!

And sorry for the bad english

                Re: Help with sky it

3g or mobile data is notoriously unstable for cs. Ping time needs to ideally be lower than 100 ms and stable.
I have a 60 mbps fibre optic broadband with ping time normally below 30ms, and I have very little freezing on sly it with my satlover server 2 cline.
With my pay cline I have no freezing at all.

Enigma is the Linux-based production software used by Dreambox.
Enigma1 is the operation system for receivers witch not support HD channels, as dm500s etc
Enigma2 is used by HD receivers as dm800, dm800se etc

a very useful thread about cccam is here:
