Just wondering if anyone has had success with s*y cline on mediaportal or MCE

To test a cline - all I need is dvbviewer pro (demo) and hadu with server edited in - is that correct ?

Depends on the test.
What do you want to test? Only if the server is online/ the cline has no syntax errror?
Or the performance of the server?

CS with MediaPortal is possible.

As you suggest, it's probably best to make sure you can get everything working in a dedicated app such as DVB Viewer first.

Next, make sure your MediaPortal setup is working (DVB-S card listed in TV server configuration, channels scanned and added, able to view FTA channels within MediaPortal).

Once you've done the above, search for and install "MDAPI_Plus"

MDAPI_Plus sits between your card and the MP TV Service, and as far as I can tell, MP doesn't really know that MDAPI_Plus is even there - The best way I can describe it is that it intercepts encrypted packets - passes them the HADU (you'll have to install an instance of HADU for each DVB-S tuner) and then passes the unencrypted packets back to MP TV service.
