cccam problem

hi i hope im in the right place.My question is this how do i veiw non fta channels ive got a dreambox 500s with a commando 14.6 and cccam
i havent put in a cline into the cccam.cfg should i still get non fta channels ?
dish is pointing at astra28

Try a few different free clines, but only 1 at a time. The server you have access to can get very busy so you may need to try a few lines before finding one that works.

hi ozoxozox and welcome

did you put the cline into the box or not (you mention 'havent' ). Make sure the cline is there and that it's a 'good' one - if no connection to the server, try with another cline - if you use satlovers free clines, may have freezes (more usefull posts will get you to better clines and servers - more stable). In case of satlover clines: only 1 from the same server at the same time!

hi thanks for the wellcome sorry for the typo i ment have put in clines this is an example of the cccam.cfg that i put in my var/ect

can you tell me if this is correct there is nothing else in the cccam.cfg files

Yes you just need the cline in the cfg file. Make sure it is the entire cline exactly as written and that you activate cccam in your stb.

Actually in CCcam.cfg may stay a lot of useful settings, as I said here:

Take a look at the attached file!
Another setting that may stay there is Seca handling, very important for RAI for example, in some CCcam versions...

If you have DHCP on it will setup internett connection on you dreambox automaticly for you. If you have it off, you will have to enter manually ip adresse and other information that is needed. To begin with i will advice you to have dhcp on.

I agree with duhoki - best to set dhcp to on, my impression is: when it doesn't work with dhcp on (auto), most probably a (internet?) problem, likely won't be solved with manually entering ip adress and other necessary fields.
