I only have clientboxes, perhaps later I'll look for a server, but atm really no need for me - I basically have all I want - in your case: try the free clines from here, and in case you want it to be really stable, perhaps you could go for a premium line here (subscription).

Further (personal opinion) I don't see the point of buying an SCT-card - opens with clines and there are boxes with freeservers/gift opening these channels also

I have a lot to learn my friend, but I have a bit of an idea now.

In your client set up, you can select either, newcamd or cccam, satlovers lines are cccam

When I set the the Spider up for Newcamd, was I also setting Cccam up at the same time, and all I have to do is switch from one to the other, depending on the line?

You would have to enter them on different lines, you have 10 lines available. I use the first 2 for CC Cam lines from Server 3 & 4 and if I want to try any other lines either CCcam or N Line I use from line 5 down. hope this helps.
