inifinity usb error clear os 5.2

hi i have installed clear os 5.2 installed cccam but when i try to get my card reader to start i get the error
"error in usb_interrupt_read()"
I have tried another programmer and installed the drivers again, I have my infinity connected but I cannot get the programmer to start. what am I doing wrong?

Is the infinity recognised when you connect it if not you may have the wrong drivers installed

when i run the line it says infinity usb and when i disconnect the usb it says infinity not connected

So its not a driver problem then if infinity usb is been detected

The only other thing i can think of is when you connect the serial lead and usb is the serial lead set to the right port

By checking the com port setting and look to see if is says connected

I don't have an infinity programmer, but from what I hear from you guys might be one of the following: correct serial RS232 cable (check if nullmodem = crossed is needed and if handshake is needed -> how many cables need to be connected?), correct driver installed, is the speed of the com port ok?

If your are connecting serial and usb lead together you will need to enable phoenix mode in your setting
