    Help with lines

Hi all. I have just subscribed to a multisat server, that is really good for everything except sly uk.
The idea is to now get a sly uk sub seperately to run alongside my multisat sub, but I need some help configuring it.
How can I get the multisat to ignore sly uk so that only my sly cline will open sly uk packages?
I have got a vague idea of how to do it but would like a bit of help from my friends on here if possible
    Thanks all

    Re: Help with lines

Well without needing filtering or so, you can use 2 different cccam config files to switch between your personal satlover c-line for sky uk and other for the rest.
Switch with cccam.info on your vu+
Other possibility use 1 c-line with 1 cam, other with other cam (cccam, oscam, mgcamd can handle c-lines)

        Re: Help with lines

        Thanks for the reply.
cccam.info or cccam switch don't work on the vu+ duo with vix image unfortunately, it causes the stb to crash.
I like the idea of using different cam but would prefer if I could filter so that I can have them in the same cccam.cfg, just that the multisat line ignores sly uk.
Trying to make it Mrs and kids proof. Think that changing cams would be beyond them.
        Any pointers on filtering?

          Re: Help with lines

Your question sounds like you are not using Satlover's line for sly uk.
When you will have 2 lines in your box. 1 for multisat (not good for sly uk as you said) and the other one for sly uk only. When it comes to the channel selection of network selection the box always select the best line for that network. If you switch from other sat to sly uk the box will automatically choose the best line for sly uk as it will have difficulty getting a correct code from the multisat line.

Theoretically it should. But when I had satlover and pay server cline running side by side in the same .cfg file, it seemed to open with satlover server 2 cline even though the pay server cline was more stable and with lower ecm times.

If I am able to filter so the multisat line ignores sly then my sly line should always open it.
I have tested a sly line thanks to a recommendation from someone on here and it is really good. Pretty much freeze free, even on weekends.
Also got a really good deal on the multisat line.

              hi

I follow microchick on this ; only thing I don't know (@bokkie: can you test already?) is if there won't be freezes because of searching or trying to connect (to something which isn't there).

Not sure I follow you Pan.
The multisat line only freezes a bit on sly uk, even when working on it's own in cccam. I want to be able to add the sly line for sly uk only.

                  Thats a bit strange though.
The other possibility would be to make some changes to your CCcam prio file. You will have to ignore the sly uk network in your multisat cccam.prio file. someone else can give advise as I am not much clear myself about the prio files.
Its good that you are happy with your lines though. Hope they stay the same.

Normally Triad should be able to help you on this (filtering, prio files,...), you can always pm him for help.
About my post 2, maybe you can try out other image than vix, vti or black hole are very good alternatives for vu, cccam info certainly work on those images to eventualy try out what I explained about your question.
                    good luck

Just tried it again and messed around a bit, it now seems that my pay server line opens rather than the satlover line when they run side by side.
With my previous pays server it was the other way around. Strange.
Saying that my previous pay server wasn't that great, this one is.
Anyway I'd still like to filter if possible.
I have a vu+ duo and have been told that if my cline is being used to open channels on both tuners at the same time, I could be switched off.
I have tuner A on motorised dish and tuner B on fixed sly dish.
So as not to run the risk I would like to make sure that the cline for sly only open sly channels , and the cline for the motorised dish only other sats.
That way I could never have one cline opening channels on both tuners when I am recording something and watching on another sat.
                      Is that confusing?
Do you get what I mean?

I think I catch what you mean Bokkie theres another thread "Using PIP is allowed on SatLover" its something similar to your problem. This guy wonders if he can use same line on PiP tv. Its along th same lines guy dont want to use it if he is going to get banned. He has been told to PM someone about it anyway have a look might help.

Yes thanks, I've seen the thread. Similar sort of problem except I want to filter my multisat line to ignore sly uk, so that only my sly uk line opens sly.
Cccam.info is also a way of doing it but don't really want the wife and kids messing about.

Thanks mate. Do I put this in the Cccam.cfg file with the clines?
Do I have to put anything else in there or anywhere else?
