Using Two Lines

Hi guys, looking for some guidance/advise, as I have now gained access to server 4 I am just wondering if there is a best way to use 2 lines. I understand about not using 2 lines from the same server but if I am using a line from server 4 should the line from server 3 be switched off, do they work hand in hand ie. if one freezes does the other one take over or am I depriving someone else by putting pressure on the system. I hope this makes sense.

its best to use one line at a time eg server 4 or 3

I have just got server 4 myself. Is there a noticeable difference in freezing? also do you have to change cline every day. I have a premium line for s*y but use these for the channels i don't have but they do freeze often to the point of not being watchable. My ping is 61ms

It wont matter if you use both as CCcam will auto switch to the fastest line anyway

TBH mate just use the server 4 cline on it's own as it's less glitchy than server 3. Or should be anyway.
Make a few more useful posts and you can get access to server 2, which is a big improvement as you get your own personal line.

my box 18 months old, still conected to ethernet server (gift with box) 5 clines and 1 nline, i leave all on, have tried in the past switching this line on an that one off, and so on but no notice of any difference, always find best line comes throu.
as you are only on server 4, (low post count), you will find plenty freezes as everybody using, best to post more if you want better server.
server 4 lines change daily (4/5pm)
server 3 lines change every 3 days.
p.s. ,in cyprus did you fit for normsat/ or shipshape, if you were working in paphos??

That is what I thought might happen that it would auto switch to the fastest line, I take on board the point about more posts and as the saying goes ( I'm dancing as fast as I can )

Once you get access to server 2 then you will be able to use 3 lines at the same time
1 line from server 4
1 line from server 3
1 line from server 2
As server 2 line is very good therefore you wont need to use other 2 lines. Only server 2 will be enough.

Congrats M8, I did find this afternoon that server 4 had a lot less freezing than I was used to so all looking good.

One more thing to, lines little better when using out of the peak viewing times.

True. Or accessing the satellites which are not busy. HB 13e, 19.2e and 28.2e are always really busy and more people watch them. Select something like 23.5e, 7e or 0w as they are supposed to be not busy and will give you good viewing with lots of interruption.
