Number of cards showing

Hi guys, hope this is the right place to ask and sorry if it is a dumb question. As a complete newbie to the C/S scene I was wondering if the number of cards showing has any significance to ECM times,glitching, hops or general stability of the picture. I usually find that the number showing is around 480- 520 but this morning I am showing over 800. many thanks for any info.

Server stability is dependent on other aspects. Maybe the number of users connecting quality. Number of cards in the hoop 1, 2 etc..
In my large number of cards is causing more instability.

The number of users have got effect on the stability of the server. If there are loads of users, the server will have freezes and glitiches problem. It also depends on the quality of the cards. But generally If there are more cards in the server, it means its a good server.

Remember also a lot of cards just reshare equals many hops.

Many thanks for the replies guys, at the moment I am just using the free lines from here and learning as I go along before I make a decision on what to do for the future.
