    How to change cccam port?

    Hi everyone.
I have a vu+ solo up and running with a cline from a server.
I read somewhere that it is advisable to change the listening port in cccam from the default to something different.
I believe it is because broadband providers keep a lookout for people using these ports.
    How do I do this?
    I am only a client.
    Thank you

From the info I got, as only client you can't do this, you just can enter the cline.

But as a client you have a listening port, which is open.
I was led to believe you could change the listening port.

If iam not wrong i think you have heard to change the default port if you have a cccam server. But as client you use the port that the server owner have provided you. You can always do soem port forwarding within your router but you will allways have ip trafick sent to the port your cline use becouse that port you cannot change only server owner.

If u want to change server listen port do this

          CAID IGNORE FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.ignore

          LOG WARNINGS : /tmp/warnings.txt

          SERVER LISTEN PORT: 12345

          WEBINFO USERNAME : *********

          WEBINFO PASSWORD : ************

In Cccam.cfg file add SERVER LISTEN PORT and number you want but this is only if u share line as server as a client u cant configure c line listen port its your friend port
Now your c line will be
          F: your line
C: your line 12345 username password(This you send to friend so your friend cant shange listen port)
C: your friend 12000 username1 password1 (This is line from your friend, you cant change friend's listen port)
          Rule n.33 kid..... Concentrate

Thanks but I'm a bit confused. I am just a client, do I need to do something?

            Do i enter this.

            CAID IGNORE FILE
            in here : /var/etc/CCcam.ignore

            And this.

            LOG WARNINGS.
            In here. /tmp/warnings.txt

And what do I do with this?

            SERVER LISTEN PORT: 12345

            WEBINFO USERNAME : *******

            WEBINFO PASSWORD : ************

              hi

no, as said, as a client you can't change c-line listen port ; you just can and must enter the cline you received.

i see you have a vu+ solo, perhaps a member with that box can help you,
you say you client, if you receive a line from a server as clients do, only the server can change the port number, unless a vu+ solo members knows better.
Do not send me iptv/cline requests,

technical or iptv/cline server questions in PM!

                I will not answer!

that's correct for each receiver including vu+ receivers.
Only server owner can handle the ports, client must use the received c-line
