cline channels picture stuttering

Finally I got connection to one of the cline servers using server IP address because I can't connect using the server name, keeps failing

Anybody knows why it works only with the IP address?

I was trying some channels and the picture will go from being very fluid while watching the motion to a slightly slower motion where the picture kind of stutters or slows down for a second or two and appears choppy, then goes back to it's normal motion flow after few seconds

Picture keeps going and scramble channel notice popping up

Is cline channels supposed to work like that or I'm missing something?

Probably the server (cline) you are connecting with is very overloaded with users/connections. Thats why it is stuttering.

There are more reasons, but above is the most common.
It could also be your internet connection..

About the IP. Normally you could just enter also a dns adres like ***x.server.extension. I dont know why you can't enter this.

There most be a reason why I can't use the dns address
About my internet connection I'm using eaglebox home plugs 500mb speed
I suppose it is slow because to crowded.
I'll try premium to see if it improves

Zmija is right, the main reason for stuttering is mostly overloads, but good and useful posts will bring rewards, but patience required.

Patience is a virtue. To be honest server 3 is not bad at all during the off peak hours. Very few things come for free these days!

yes the best thing that i find is to try not to use at peak times other times they seem ok

yes, agree, but that's a bit difficult (have to work and only at home at peak times ...).
Has surely an influence, but also overloading is a problem (test with some other lines, but best to check before if they are good).

I just tested a new line from server 3 and I add it

I open a movie channel and then it just stop there in the picture with the scramble channel poster

I can't no watch anything, I haven't been lucky to see it working
Maybe is the channel I'm trying to watch

Any channel suggestion to watch?

Another thing, after getting the scramble channel and leave it on for few minutes it just crashes the box

Even good lines on server 3 etc. will have interrupting/stuttering during peak times. The only solution is to get a premium line from satlovers or be patient and help people on the board with problems, so you collect 'usefull' posts. This will result in more acces to 'more exlusive' lines. (server 4, 2 or even 1)

I have same problem with this line on server
but I was told that it is only to test recivers, but not to see all the time,
I dont know if I am wrong .

I think alot of people are curious about server 2.....

As has been mentioned before the free servers are best used to test your system and then consider a paid server.

Cgaie, the non $ky channels have less glitching.

lets be fair, if free servers were trouble free, not just S/L, we would not have to discuss here, free servers give you insight of what to come, via pay server, or mr satlover.

I know, that's all the glitching I was getting. Which other do you suggest so that I can see what they are like?

I have not idea where to go. I can go anywhere as I have a dish with motor

try on Astra 3, eg SatBG is (for me + confirmed by others) one of the more stable sats/packages I receive, often with english audio (can only compare to Astra 1, 2, 3 and HB 13E).
