Some people activate as many lines as they can but never watch them, which makes the server really busy for other people. Myself, I activate only one line and most of the time I don't really watch the scrambled channels as so much got used to FTA on Sky UK that all my favourites are on BBC, ITV, Ch4 and 5 networks.

so I did use two servers one for jsc and one for satellite bg and the speed was fine even with my yumatu so i think 2 is ok to use.

don't use more than 1 cline from the same server at the same time.

sure not from the same server, they are two separate ones

Thats fine you can use two different servers for two different networks at the same time. The problem starts when you use 2 different servers for one network at the same time.

I think it is best to use 2 different c-line. One is always a backup. I believe it will increase stability and reliability.

                      hi guys

basically agree with all you said here, so shortly put I have the impression:
                      - best to use only 1 cline of the same network
                      - 2 clines of a different network work fine
                      - only 1 cline of the same server!

thanks for the info, stays a bit cloudy, but it's clearing up bit by bit

Yes, Thats why you get 2 or 3 lines from paid servers. But again as I said, all these lines would be from one server, if one doesnt work then the other would.
But 2 C lines from 2 different servers would be unstable.
Its my personal experience, I used to use 1 line from satlover and one from another website for sly uk, I must say I had lots and lots of freezes. I dont have many freezes now since I have started using just one line from satlover and have deleted the other one.
I am still a learner with L plates anyway!!

Re: How many servers should I add for optimum speed

Any more servers then 3 by my opinion would slow the connection considerably!
Three different servers, one must take into account that there are same cards on these servers, for example Csat ID X 6.
Normally some cards are much better then the other ones and who uses it must filter the cards to receive only server that offers cards with lower ecm pings.
There's whole threads on card filtering in Cccam forum section where you can familiarize yourself and learn quite alot btw...

I am the opinion that the best way is to use 3. c-lines at the same time. If one line is not functional the other one will do it. If you pute more then 3 lines the Hardware of the reciver will be more busy and you will get a slow performance of the reciver - the result is that the c-lines will become unstable.

                              hello

may seem strange, may have to do with my box or with my 'not-super-fast' internet connection, but gave it some tests with servers 3 and 4. Result (here anyway ): no big differences between 3 and 4, have the impression a little bit stabler with only 1 cline active. Think the setup and combination with all hardware must have a big influence indeed.

My personal experience is that Server 3 is far better than server 4. I get a few freezez and almost everything is opening for me. Very stable during the daytime but unstable during the afternoons and evenings, which is understandable.
