    Ping cline/package?

    Hello,

I couldn't find the answer on this board. Maybe you know if it is possible or not to check how 'far' a card is shared in a network trough the cline.

Because some packages are very high shared through a cline like rai, sky, canaldigital etc. But with some channels I have to wait maybe 2 minutes or something to have picture.

1 - Is it possible to test a Cline on how good the connection is with the 'orginal' card owner?

I hope you all understand what I'm asking.. Bit difficult to explain.. So I'm trying to check why a Cline has bad connection with some packages.

I need specific one package Oiv Zagreb. It is shared by the clines in the free server from satlover, but I just cant get it without freezing and waiting for over 2 minutes. (while this package is very low watched).

2 - A second question is if I can check what packages are available to watch trough a cline, without adding it to the Cccam.cfg. Is there any program for this?

3 - Maybe it's also good to know for me: The 'freezing' is this because of the connection between me and the cline provider? Or between me and the original 'card-owner'?

    Re: Ping cline/package?

    hey Zmija,

    for question one and two:
if you search on ****** you will see that it is only few cline tester on the web. The cccam protokol don't allow many thing. If it allow it, i will be threated like a trojaner.
you can only ping a server.
The Cccam.cfg containt all info you need.
    question 3:
the freezing depend on Emu compatibility and image and of course the ping time.
    use the CCcam-Prio file.
this Post could help you. http://www.satlover.com/forum/cccam/...plained-3.html

      hi

to test a cline I use this program (thanks again @Gogoli1): _hxxp://***.satlover.com/forum/dreambox-tools/39330-new-c-n-lines-tester-new.html
Is much safer, works fine, although you can't see 'how good' a certain cline is, you just see if it's good or not.

@pan1100: yeah, allready saw that program. Love it. So you can filter out the bad clines, but I dont have that many bad . It's the ping I was wondering..

@clarck197: about the Cccam-prio file. Found some info about it, just to make clear:

Cccam.prio improves the reactivity between my decoder and identifying the channel.. this is true?

          yes it is true.
And it allows your decoder to identify idents of channels faster

            hi Zmija

ok, sorry, didn't get you right.

Must say I don't have answers to you questions, but I'm very interested in what the answers will be. Obly to your question 2: I can't enter/see the Cccam.cfg (only client box) -> other possibilities to see what packages/channels are open with a certain cline??

I really hope there's some more reaction on this!

            Thank you all in advance.

pan1100. Adding the cccam.providers file on your box in var/etc. Maybe you allready have it, then its not necessary. Maybe you could update it.

then just search for your box ip in your own lan network f.e. 192.0.168.x1 or whatever.

Go to your browser Chrome, IE, Firefox and fill in your boxIP to 192.0.168.x1:16001
And see what packages/providers you can receive !

This was one of my questions indeed and already found the answer
              __________________________________________________ _______________________________
My question was if I could see the packages from an external machine, like my laptop or pc. So I don't have to fill it in the cccam.cfg and then again reboot etc.

              Maybe some1 knows this?

i should not rely on this, because lots of server have disabled pinging,
I've got setted my router like this aswell, so it's not allways best way to check if server is online.
