    staying safe on spiderbox

Hi all. I am about to take the plunge into the world of cardsharing.
I have settled on getting a spiderbox, but need some help on safety and security.
Is there any way of keeping my ip, etc invisible to prying eyes.
Proxy, vpn or some sort of software?
Please excuse my ignorance, but i'm just learning the ropes.
    thx
