What does 0 Maxdownhop mean in plain English? It is like arithmatic to me, I think I know what it is, but I cannot get the grasp of it.

Maybe if I understand how it works, I will understand why somebody makes a card 0 Maxdownhop.

0 downhop means that there are no possibility for reshare of your Cline.
It usually is posted to clients when getting their Cline in order to view subscription channels for free in Dreambox.
Protocol and emulation used for that purpose is Cccam.
Read further in the forum so you'll understand...

Or in plain english user can only watch the card himself and not share it.
when reshare (downhop) is zero then you can forget it.
then you have view line and not a server line for yourself if you have server.
