i leave ethernet on, a n/line on/ an a c/line on have no probs, but 2 lines be ok from 1 provider as long as port numbers different.

good question. now that i understand a little bit of cs, i now understand how it was able to clear nagra3 channels. i used to read about cable boxes then it dwindled away because of n3 encryption.

It is built into the firmware so could even be a bespoke system but my money would be on newcamd.

i rarely go there anymore. if the mods don't like your post even though it is valid, they close it.

I've just had a look on that forum to see how noypi came on, and saw this post:

that should be made a sticky there. lol. but for how long? if it's for a year then it's cheap. i shall read about that tonight. can u post more info on how to do it ourselves if we only have to solder something.

Noypi. I was only quoting what I saw posted on the other forum, I know nothing about it. It wasn't there long, it's gone now. It was someones first post, so probably just a mischief maker.

Seems ethernet been having a issues over the last few days, would have thought it would be more reliable now many have been disconnected, although im sure it will get filled again with a new box.

I would think it would only be a matter of finding the the chip that holds the firmware version and reproging with the latest vesion and maybe the mac address.
