Do not worry, it's possible. It also depends on stability and load server using.

You right skytec!
If your server has enough resources and a good network throughput you can have 100 ms latency on your peer.

i have read this somwhere on the net this is not my work but it may help you but you can also say that sometimes ping is good one day and not another also i would like to say that i have a few with over 100ms and most are ok check make sure you get good ratio of ecms

Hello all. A lot of discusions about ping value in cccam between peers. many peers are looking in ping statistic for cccam, but this value is not so important !!!! why? = = =
because most net providers routers (I am talking not about your routers at home, but about net providers routers) have a lot of configuration especially packets priority; In good setup routers ping has lowest priority in config;
so router doing ping job only then is not busy (after other packets);
PING has lowest priority in routers with "right" setup. This is because ping is used only for ping, not for packets transfer.
CCcam share packets not by ping protocol !!!! so please don't avoid cccam friends ONLY for bad ping, most important how answer your friends card (check statistic).

I have an example for you:
I have few friends with the same card and one of friend hav ping from me 230 ms, what seems very bad, but his card answer to my server first then I requaing this card and do it in 100 % ; I tryed to put his line at the end of cccam config file, but even if he is last he answer thirst !!!

So check for ping at last option. And it is not my thinking, it is what I know;

Just a general suggestion:
If you have multiple gateways, firewalls etc like me:
For wan cs, place your server/client as "close" to your outgoing line as possible.
I got improved ping by connecting my db directly to my ADSL modem rather than the router.

software, change registry key= waste of time.

with adsl, check fastpath mode on your router/modem or contact your provider and ask if it is active.

i haven't found fastpath in my router (dng2200).
if i contact my provider, can it active?

I have a question...
Now i have ping of 120 ms and i am on Interleave path mode.
If i change to fastpath mode my adsl would be stable or not.

The quality of ADSL is dependent on the quality of a wired connection and the distance from the service provider.

Are there some numbers in my router that indicate if I will ok or not?
Something I have hear about "noise" but I don't mow mutch.
Is there a way to i find the distance from the service provider?

use the command tracert (Windows) or traceroute (Linux) to see the path followed by the packets.

you will be able to see where you're loosing time...that will be only an information as far as you've nearly no chance to get rerouted via another path (there are ways, but you need a shell on a network with a better ping...not easy for someone not too much into network stuff)
