Believe that there are no definitive numbers as it depends on your setup, but happy to be corrected if others disagree!

but there again i think i read somwhere 30 but i think there are lots of diffrent views

So does that mean that when a server is overloaded, it simply skips or delays certain responses to clients because of bandwidth being used up as opposed to the card not sending out the response in time?

          Multiple things to consider :

          1. Users reading same card same time

          2. Internet bandwidth

          3. Internet connection stability (ping and jitter)

          4. PC configuration

And yes when overloaded skips ecm's or is giving you timeouts.

Also for example oscam is using ecm cache that helps a lot when users watching same card, same channel, same time

have somebody measured how much kB/s and how often (e.g. every 3 sec.) does it take to upload keys from certain card ?

It depends on the cryption system with wich speed the cards are readed. For example the NDS cards are the fastest with key change, it takes a very good PC (Server) to share with this encryption system. I donīt think it take to much time for the certain card to upload the keys, because if you look at the ECM time on the cccam protocol it is about 0,5 to 1,2 sec. so it is quite fast enough. It does not take to much bandwith to share the codes.
