    Re: Server Packages

Yes Jezs, it's basically like that.
Key is sent over from card processor to rec. processor which confirms that it is correct one by Entitlement control message or ECM, after which receiver decodes the channel and sends DCW or Decrypt word to Emulation developed by Linux enthusiasts like us, in order of us to see whole process in the making!
Which.., in the other hand is not viewable by common means and stock receivers that forbids this kind of now hows and usage!
But it IS needed for us, in order to know and advance systems of DCW's that are unique for every System, that be: Irdeto, NDS, Nagra, Seca, Cryptoworks, Conax, and various multicams.

Interesting enough that Conax cam has special privileges which allows only that Cam to act as a multicam, which Dream multimedia used in their advancement and got their recs with software like Newcs and Oscam to be the best for original Cards reading and updating, allowing not only reading but sharing as well... There is whole history of Analogue encryption techniques from 1995 until 2001 when digital technology came in and allowed other platforms to encode it's services much better, since digital channel offer has grown much bigger!!!
It indeed WAS the time of famous Samsung 9500, Humax, Dbox, and all those various pirate cards like Fun, Gold, Silver and standard low ecm cards that delivered so much for so less money. And it was quite a job to get them working in those Phoenix, Mastera I and II readers!!!

Jee, good old times, nice to remember them all !!!

I had a play with the old analogue encryption (& smart card technology in general) back in the day. In the sat world back then an ECM was an Electronic Counter Measure and used to change the keys that the cards used. Original cards in authorised equipment would handle the ECM but emulators back then couldn't and cards needed re-programming.

Thanks to Jezs & Triad for posing... I've been re-educated for the 21st century...

        Re: Server Packages

Quoting Wikipedia on CA Conditional Access
In order for the receiver to unscramble the data stream, it must be permanently informed about the current value of the control word. In practise, it must be informed slightly in advance, so that no viewing interruption occurs. Encryption is used to protect the control word during transmission to the receiver: the control word is encrypted as an entitlement control message (ECM). The CA subsystem in the receiver will decrypt the control word only when authorised to do so; that authority is sent to the receiver in the form of an entitlement management message (EMM). The EMMs are specific to each subscriber, as identified by the smart card in his receiver, or to groups of subscribers, and are issued much less frequently than ECMs, usually at monthly intervals. This being apparently not sufficient to prevent unauthorized viewing, TPS has lowered this interval down to about 12 minutes. This can be different for every provider, BSkyB uses a term of 6 weeks. When Nagravision 2 was hacked, Digital+ started sending a new EMM every three days to make unauthorized viewing more cumbersome.
It's known for sure that every CAS Conditional access module and encryption system has around this or that much ECM messages to the receiver and card. If Ecm is responded every 10 seconds in Sky NDS systems... i.e. If someone was continuously requesting ECMs from a Sky UK NDS card for a 24 hour period. There would be a total of around 8,000 requests during that time. (New ECMs around every 10-13 seconds from what I can tell).

Some people don't bother to switch to a FTA channel if they are not watching TV meaning that their receiver will keep trying to decrypt the broadcast. This is a waste of resources, but some people don't even think of this.
BUT not to be said twice! There are peers on some servers registered to have entitled for 8000 ecm's per two or three hours which is abnormal !!!
It after some reconsideration is not so strange, 'cause, every time you change a channel, you request an ecm.
The more you zap, the more requests.
If you watch a channel constantly, you request 1 ecm every 10 seconds, for most demanding systems like NDS.
If you zap between channels, you can request 10 ecms in 10 seconds.

Do any of the free satlover clines work with the HD sky channels ?

I tried server 3 and it doesnt seem to decrypt any of the hd channels.

Anyone know if any of the other servers do ?

            Re: Server Packages

Server 4 does work with those channels and it's needed some Caid filtering and system filtering in CCcam.prio file located in /etc folder.
For example, you need to filter Viaccess system in CCcam.prio file in order to watch Csat France HD channels since they use primary Viaccess ID:500 system for decoding. After ignore character receiver will take secondary system used for that channels that do decode Csat HD right, and it is Seca ID:100 with their Caid.

Use sam search in CCcam section of the forum thread CCcam.prio

No, that's not what he's saying

Server 3 will open all packages for which you just need > 0 posts.

Server 4 at least 50 posts
Server 2 at least 100 posts.

                Just to clear up:

Satlover have many members. The free server service system is like the more usefully post you get the more and better access you get to the servers.

example: For a new member they have access to server 3 and only 100 clines. The chance is that there is probably many other new members who use the same clines and you will get frezz. But if you get like 50 usefully post you will get access to server 4 with 1000 clines, and then you have a better chance to use one that is not in use, and result of less frezze.

                Happy sating

                  Re: Server Packages

it's EchoStar 10/11 Dish USA network, encoded in Nagravision 3 system.
Quite interesting package. Where's your location Kevin, East coast Fairbanks maybe?
Don't know if Nagra 3 Dish network is using Caid Pairing like some other networks i.e. MaxTV Croatia and with it not viewable in cardsharing.
If not, just need to know Dish Network Caid and if it's here on Satlover or not!

                  cheers

                    Re: Server Packages

Ok I'll upload some posts to some premium accounts telling them how to see if there IS Dish Networks Caid on 110w. If there are then you surely on Premium, should be able to open those chan.!

Ok, here are some infos from cardsharing.us HERE

                    Quoting Administrator:
Dish Network begins transition to new security encryption method known as nagravision 3
cardsharing is possible if you have box key and rsa key ,its the same situation as in Europe
So, after MaxTV and some other platforms like American Dish Network started using pairing of receiver UBK (unique box key) and RSA key, Cardsharing was put to an end...
But some users are reporting that it's only temporarily, since there IS possibility to read those keys and set them up, so rec could get it's dcw's and much needed clearing in those channels.
One thing is that it's available only to some ppl that are in Real Know How of cardsharing scenery! Reportedly Nagra3 works only in one Emu!!!? but they won't say which one!?
I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be infamous Gbox!!!

                    cheers m8

                      Re: Server Packages

No Total TV using Caid Pairing with receiver Box Key and NDS rsa key so it's not viewable, at least not in most official Cams. Use other providers, there's plethora of them out there, exotic one too as 1w 7w Nilesat and 26e Arabsat recent etc ...
                      cheers.

here is my experience with satlover server 3

astra23.5 satellite bg channels work well, they use conax. also the czech and europsort channels work with only mild freezes

hotbird. no luck in jsc especially during eurocup games. but finally can watch bbc knowledge and hd.also works with animal planet but with the rest of the channels i always have the problem of freezes

maybe you are also interested in turksat since you are from turkey. i think nat geo works but dsmart channels are hard to decrypt. someone even told me digiturk works

                        hopw this helps
