to see number of cards online
    grep Card share.info | wc -l

to see number of cards from a peer
    grep [peer name] share.info | wc -l

you can put whatever behind grep like prov id's distance, share level
    examples:
    grep dist:1 share.info | wc -l
    grep Lev:1 share.info | wc -l
    output example:
    root@dm7020:/var/tmp# grep dist:1 share.info | wc -l
    96

    do mind the capitals !!

the wc -l commands counts the number of lines in share.info
if you remove it you wil see all the lines containing the text entered behind grep

    example:
    grep Lev:0 share.info
    ouput:
    CardID 1 at peer.net Card 01000002 Sl:3 Lev:0 dist:3 id:7898
    CardID 11 at peer.net Card 0100002F Sl:1 Lev:0 dist:2 id:A508
    CardID 26 at peer.net Card 01000030 Sl:2 Lev:0 dist:3 id:8069
    CardID 27 at peer.net Card 01000035 Sl:1 Lev:0 dist:2 id:A508

in share.onl is the online status of the peers
you can see it by typing
    more share.onl
peers with 1 are online, 0 means offline

    to kill gbox:
    touch /tmp/gbox.kill
    to start gbox
    /var/bin/gbox &
don't forget the & behind it or gbox will be closed when you exit the telnet session

    to reboot your dreambox type
    reboot
    to change dreambox password type
    passwd

if ppl are interested i can also tell you how to edit files in telnet like cwshare.cfg
We first have to see the output of netstat with processes names that are runing on that ports, i don't see how else we could help you on this issue

I didn't saw it. It is ok is just your telnet connection.

If you look there that traffic is infact generated by "kompjuter", which i think is the station name from where login via telnet.

So infact your huge traffic is generated by you using very often telnet.

Same thing for the localhost traffic is generated by you navigating very often the menu and loging via web interface from your PC

No mater what image you use, if you use telnet and webinterface a lot you'll have the same traffic.

Being local i wouldn't worry about it

Maybe before you didn't spent so much time to webif or telnet. Restart the box and then don't use webif and telnet for one day. At the end of the day check your traffic and see if it will decrase considerably.

PS in that day don't use ftp, dreamup, dcc or something else, just watch TV.

You'll be surprised of your traffic

This clearly shows a telnet connection and looks to be local. If you were working memotly on your dreambox it is probably refleting your attempt to connect to your receiver
