    question

Hello, could you tell me if the internet connection without an external IP (1MB) has got an influence on the quality of sharing ? What about a tuner working on Linux , and attached to the server ? Regards.

      Re: question

For sharing is allways reccomended to have a fast broadband connection with unlimeted downloads as you will have a massive traffic coming in and out of your network. unless you do no care with your internet bills you will be ok with your actual connection

        1. What you mean by "without external IP"

        2. 1 Mb upload or download, you wan't to share lines to other users ?

        Be a little more explicit

The tunner will increase server load and memory usage, it depends of your hardware.

If you have a strong server it won't affect it, and the tunner affecting internet line is out of question beaucause is local

The sharing of the card data doesn't use large amounts of bandwidth.

                Re: question

It firstly depends on your actual upload speed. If you have say a upload speed of say 0.4MB that is sufficient when your broadband is only being used by your satellite box. However if you have a computer or an external device connected to your internet, then even slight bursts of bandwidth use will cause small freezes. A upload speed of 2mb+ makes all this negligible anyway...

If you are only connecting to a server as a user then your IP doesnt matter whereas if you are the person supplying the card sharing you must have a static ip.

                  Re: question

As per my experience 1 MB is good enough for cccam sharing as client. If you want to make a server, then the speed should be depend on how many clients you have.
A PING less than 300 is satisfactory and PING below 100 is excellent.

For all information i seen clients that have dreamboxes connected to mobile networks were we all know the speeds even for download are very modest.

When i say mobile i don't reffer to 3G, and as a client works just fine.

If you have 2-3 C lines a stable speed of 10 KB/s is more then enought.

Tested and it works just fine, the secret is the stabilty of line

Before 2-3 years when i was on 10gb net packet, i spend it for 10-15 days, and internet speed than was 256 / 256 Kbps (download/upload)and it was no problem with shering with 10 peers.

I don't know what's the ideea of all users being obsesed by high bandwidth, maybe that is posted all over the net, glad you confirmed to what i was sure off

This is not true only small amounts of data are exchanged. A 512k can be sufficient. But more is better as you will have others devices connected to your broadband.

I agree with Fantom, you don't need a high speed line to go on with CS.
