can any body help i have a dream box 800hd clone it has black hole and other stuff on well i have got a cline of a freind which i put in to the cfmg folder all works well but now i want to portwrd so he can share mine do i have to make any chnges in my dreambox or are changes just made in router for port forwarding if i have got to make any changes in dream box please tell me what

You have to put an F: line in your config.

In your router open server port to WAN using Virtual Server, Port Forwarding or in your particular case using Game and Application forwording

do i after put in cmfg file which port i want to listen to or does it listen to 1200 default unless i tell it another port

its more secure to use another port becouse 12000 is defoult and anyone knows
open (12578 port and write )
SERVER LISTEN PORT: 12578 in file
also put F line
F: user password 3 0 0 { 0:0:1 }
and C line ho will send to your frend shold be:
C: your dns 12578 user password no { 0:0:3 }
about permissions about sharings you have good tutorials here in this forum just search

For security reason put also passwords to WEBINFO and TELNETINFO

first of all he has to put his wan ip in dyndns beaucause is using the local one :P

If you use local IP in dyndns is useless to open port, it will not work anyway

Of course you have to open it but is useless if you don't use your wan ip on ddns
