please help with port forwardin on 02 router

hi can anybody help i have a dreambox which i would like to port forward i have a dyndns static ip set up well i think it is if i type my static ip in it connect to my router
any way can any body please help i have been reading for days with no louck as all routers dont set up the same i have a 02 wireless box 2
please help i have pulled all my hair out

1. First of all are you sure that static IP is not your's local IP, if it begins with 10.x.x.x or 192.x.x.x that is not your WAN IP

2. Secondly search for NAT section an there on Virtual Server section or in Port Forwarding just put your local dreambox IP and Port.

well i thoght iwas doing ok i set up a ip on dyndns server connected up set it up in my router then for some reason the settings in my router now say
dyndns-pics.com (Update needed) i have tried and tried but still no luck

Ok, username and password on DynDNS must be the same with your account on dyndns.com

Make a picture of your game and application sharing section to see what options do you have there.

Do you have somthing like NAT, DMZ, Virtual Server in your router, if you do, attach some pictures to in order to tell you how to configure that rooter

maybe it is needed to map external port to other internal port. e.g. external 12222 is mapped to internal 12000 with DM IP.

for my Vigor router it works superb. i can directly define redirect ports <local IP> 12000 -> <dreambox IP> 12000.
