    Importing Clines Via USB

    Hello Guys,

Currently having issues importing clines via usb I'm pretty sure I have done everything ok in regards to the .cfg file type and the format of the settings inside the file, however it still does not copy across I currently only have 2 clines inside, so there are definitely slots available.

(I Have dpone this before, doesn't seem to want to work anymore, It is a spiderbox HD 9000)

    Cheers

Did it suddenly happend or you made some firmware upgrade. Take backup of your settings and try reseting the box.

Have not attempted any sort of firmware update on the box, will do as suggested and let you know.

Can the receiver recognize the usb? if its an external hard disk you may have problem with the format. whats your box image?

Perhaps burned USB port, because of poor extract from the receiver

Also make sure that if you created the .cfg file in notepad, you didn't save it as a txt file. When you choose save as type, choose all files.

                  Re: Importing Clines Via USB

I have heard of using attributes when using CHMOD in regards to web design, how does this work on a windows machine? I am guessing it has something to do with read/write etc.

I have attempted again with all the recommendations with no luck what so ever.

The format i am using in the config file is

C: (name or ip) (port) (username) (password) I am sure this is the correct

The two ports seem to be ok, I can place it in any slot and then open the usb stick via the box i go to the cfg file press ok, it asks me if i want to import I click ok, tells me its saving etc and then nothing progresses.

Thank you for your help so far.

ok, sorry - did you look at: http://www.satlover.eu/forum/rest-of...ox-9000hd.html

best to use the search function on the 'spiderbox' - pretty sure this has been discussed before - or someone with a spider can help you out here directly

When you do factory reset and try to insert cline, dos it still not work? Try to do factory reset and dont restore your settings from backup. Then load cline to it whith usb. WHat happends then?

A couple of years ago when i got the box i had the same problem, I remembered i had used an Ubunutu OS when creating the CFG file, so i dug out the old machine and tried again, it worked.
