cline tester

Hi,

is there any console tool for testing clines? Please don't post links for cline testing websites - i know them.

I need a console-tool or maybe a documentation of the protocol for writing my own tool.

One of the member wrote a program to test lines with. Other members reported a bug and the member deleted it. My personal suggestion is that most of the free lines you find on the internet are either taken or offline. Use lines only from reliable source and easy to upload it via US and test it yourself. There is no need for a tester or something.

So do I, my friend. I think the best is try it at your receiver. I have a SkyStar HD2 PC SAT receiver with DVBDream and Hadu emu, and it is very easy and quick to try it. So I respect so much all opinions, but I think microchick is right.
I use only Satlover cccam lines, the best so far.

no need for cline testers etc, when you establised with mr satlovers lines, the best and no nonsense way to go.

Have to agree with you guys - me too I only use clined from satlover, and am too very pleased.

Back to topic: for those who doubt: in the 'beginning' I used a cline tester a few times (the one which which is talked about in a previous thread and an online one - naive as I was back then ...), they didn't help me much - so: really no need to do this (not safe anyway - as said earlier: not for yourself and not for the forum) -> best to enter them directly in the box and try, and sometimes need to enter another one, but hey, that's part of our hobby, right?

If I remember well, this is the program Gogoli1 made and posted here a few months ago ; after some discussion he (or she?) decided to withdraw it from the forum - it's up to you, but if I were you, I'd delete the file in your post .
