Hi Got my clines off Mr.Satlover but can not connect is this correct please

D****_A******* = My first and second name
leslee_***** = My login name and letters and numbers

Put in manually the space after my second name is start of password and do not put (no) at the end of password. sorry new to this??

I found this :

EASY GUIDE TO INPUT CLINE ON YOUR SPIDERBOX SD.

1. press menu on your remote control and navigate to options, if you do not see network as the last entry under options then you need to press 1111 on your remote control this will then access the hidden options and network will now appear. You can now select network and you will be given 3 further options, you need to then select net application.

2. using left and right navigate through the screen in network until you see DREAM at the top. this is the screen were you will enter your CLINE your screen will look like below

TYPE - dream

SERVER NO ( this will be 1 by default but you can have 1234 as you can enter 4 clines on the SD spiderbox)

SOFTCAM (this is pre selected as NEWCAM you need to change this to show CCCAM)

INPUT ( this has domain pre selected but you can also change to an I.P address ie 198.168.1.1 this is what an I.P address looks like if you are not sure, you should leave this as DOMAIN unless your CLINE starts with an I.P)

SERVER (this is were you will add your server name or I.P address the server name is the first part of the CLINE before you get to the port numbers)

PORT ( this is the set of numbers on your CLINE ie 12000)

AUTHORISATION ( press ok and you will now see another screen with ID and
PASSWORD you will need to enter each option and using the remote enter the user id and password from your CLINE once completed press exit from this screen taking you back to the CCAM screen if you now press the red key on your remote it should show STB1 CONNECTED this means success and you are connect to your server. If it does not connect I have found that going back into ID and PASSWORD screens and just pressing exit again and coming out cures this.

Example:

C: sharebrutus.ath.cx 12000 abcdefghr igefjklmo

Type - dream
Server No - 1
Softcam - cccam
Input Type - domain
server - sharebrutus.ath.cx
port - 12000
authorisation
ID - abcdefghr
password - igefjklmo

you make get a cline that looks similar to this

C: sharebrutus.ath.cx 12000 qwedweqwr ervcevev no {0-2-0}
or
C: sharebrutus.ath.cx 12000 qwedweqwr ervcevev yes {0-2-0}

please ignore anything on the text line after your password ie yes/no and the numbers and brackets please do not input them or your Cline will not work.

That's it.

I've made a quick cfg file for you based on the above example. Download it and rename it to be .cfg file rather than .txt then copy onto a USB stick. If you then goto the USB menu (F2 or through the menu). Then click on Satlover_S3.cfg file it will load it into your list of clines (assuming you have at least 1 empty line).

Note, make sure you don't have another active Server 3 line in your list already though!

You have here so much clines for testing and they are all free. You just have to post on MR. Satlovers site and you will get your clines then you can test it.

The only thing you need is to understand your cline, I mean you have to know what is the user name, the password, the prortnumber and the server name and insert it in your spiderbox cccam option. Spiderbox is quit forward with ccam. bear in mind that you will have to do it manually use the remote

You don't have to do it manually, see my answer above as you can make a cfg file on your pc then transfer via usb.

I know you don't have to do it manually I just gave one more option. We are on a modern world but some times people do not have the right tools or have no idea of how to use it and some extra skills are essential. However your I admit that your advice is much faster than do it manually and that is exatly what I do when I need to update my softcam keys. but imagine if you are traing to instruct someone over the phone and He or she has no knolodge of computers??

Hi everyone made basic mistake a capital (i) looks the same as a a small (l) when using UBUNTU operating system could have been something else can't remember but will try what (redhezuk) said with usb Thanks

I saw your post to LESLEE regarding inputting clines to a spiderbox.

I got one of these 24 hour trial packages and in putted the lines manually but they didn't appear to work. After inputting do I need to do anything else with the config of the spiderbox.

Max1952, sorry couldn't reply to your PM so have answered your question here:

Once you've got the line into the box (either manually on the remote or importing the cfg on the usb) you should see the line listed. If so then it will display disconnected or connect. If disconnected then either something hasn't been typed correctly or the server is down (or your line isn't setup on the server). Sometimes if you do a soft reboot from the menu that can kick start the line.

If you take one of the free lines for Server 3 from Satlovers that should be the test for you as it should connect.

Tibsom, if you are patient you will be rewarded as Mr Satlover only updates Server 2 periodically. It will be worth the wait though!
