I think there is no reason to make bad face. As in our forum, Here we have topic where people post clines, and Nlines from other forums and boards. It doesn't matter most of the time they are useless. Simple reason is everyone wants to increase number of post by using such methods.

The best suggestion till now is giving cline by personal username and that will also increase number of registered users.

But this is real hard process for admin and mods.

You have to put your c-line in your cccam.cfg with your dreambox control center under var/etc. Off course you need to have cccam on your dreambox as emuluator and you need to activate it.
If c-line don't work, try other one. For example free c-lines from satlover server 3 are updated every day, so need to be replaced.

Mate,
I have a DM500plus.
The directory for my ccc.cfg is /etc
On most receivers it is /var/etc as Runmo says.
The easiest way is to install ccc.cfg throuh addons\cam-configs.
Search for it and edit.

you should check the server ip first before entering any clines into your CCcam.cfg just to save a little time, easy method is to start a command line and ping test the server address this way at least you know its active and working.

Saves a lot of work keep opening your cfg file all the time

a better way is to check IP AND port (the host may for example not answer to ping, or may answer but the port is closed)
via a telnet command
telnet hostname port (under Linux for example)
then CTRL-D to close the telnet if it works

if it doesn't work you'll get something like :
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused

Won't checking the server by trying to Telnet you onto the port possibly result in an IP Ban from the server your trying, as you will not be passing a username and password, and so get kicked out anyway?

Did you try to ping the server Satlover, so you where banned from it or did you try to ping some else CS server on the web ? Are you banned from this server site or have you got a access to the server 2 clines ?

I have pinged many servers just to try and see what ping time is like and have never been banned, although i make sure my sat box is off first just in case.

Yes I tried to ping the different servers without to turn out the Box and nothing happened. I was curries from where the servers are from and you can only determinate it by pinging it because you get the IP address.
