    Android antivirus

It's advisable to install an antivirus on our Android smartphone and if so, which one would you suggest?

Yes, you should install an Antivirus if you try many apps.

I use TrustGo, it is free. Maybe there are other better than this.

Clean master has an antivirus, among many other features.

I find Clean Master too heavy, it takes a lot of RAM and with my rooted phone it cleaned files from the System and I had to reinstall all from beginning.

When using it, you can choose which files to delete.

Yes I know and so I did but, it happened once when the program received an update, all my favorite settings returned to default and I lost lots of files.

That's strange. I never faced such behavior. It's very useful to me.
I wonder if this has to do with rooting your phone. I haven't rooted mine.

Yes, it has to do with the rooting due to you get admin access to the root therefore, the program can clean also in the phone system.

The best anti-malware for Android devices is Kaspersky Internet Security. It's very nimble for the core and it has update definition of malware.
